Image & Copyright Policy

1. Image Sources and Licensing

IBI Motorcycles uses images obtained through the following methods:

• Properly licensed stock photography from authorized providers.
• Images submitted by builders, owners, or members with permission to display.
• Images used under fair use for research, commentary, or educational purposes where applicable.
• Images with explicit permission from the copyright holder.

IBI does not claim ownership of outside images. Source attribution is provided when required and when the source is known.

2. Builder and Source Credit

IBI aims to credit verified builders, motorcycle owners, photographers, and sources when their identities and permissions are available. Builder credit includes the builder's name, links to their website or social channels, and relevant project details.

Credit is only displayed when identity and permission have been confirmed. IBI does not fabricate builder information or claim credit for work it did not create.

3. Verification Status of Images

All motorcycle images on IBI are labeled with one of the following verification levels:

• Verified Build: Important information has been confirmed by the builder, owner, manufacturer, or another reliable source.
• Partially Verified Build: Some information has been confirmed, while other information remains under review.
• Unverified Visual Inspiration: The motorcycle is shown for inspiration or preliminary research without complete confirmation.

These terms are never used interchangeably. "Featured" and "Verified" are never used unless the applicable criteria are met.

4. Member Submissions

When members submit motorcycle images, they confirm that they own the rights to the image or have permission from the copyright holder to share it. By submitting, members grant IBI a non-exclusive license to display the image on the IBI platform with appropriate attribution.

Submission does not automatically guarantee publication, featured status, or showcased status. IBI reserves the right to review, edit, or reject submissions.

5. Copyright Infringement

If you believe that an image on IBI Motorcycles infringes your copyright, please contact us immediately at laurino@ibimotorsports.com with the following information: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized; and (e) a statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We will promptly investigate and remove infringing content upon verification.

6. Use of Images by IBI

Motorcycle images displayed on IBI are used for visual inspiration, research, educational commentary, and platform demonstration. IBI does not sell or redistribute member-submitted images to third parties without explicit permission.

7. Third-Party Links

IBI may link to builder websites, social media channels, manufacturer pages, and retailer sites. We are not responsible for the content, images, or practices of these third-party websites.
